Introducing the Hilo, our high volume low floor luton provides an easier access alternative to our Aeroluton. The Hilo gives operators a more useable cubic load space than a panel van which often has curved sides and also offers simpler and more effective methods of restraining the load.

Volkswagen Crafter Low floor luton

Our Hilo is designed to work best in multi drop and furniture removal operations and is available with rear access step or load ramp. Our design offers a class leading payload in the low floor luton sector with a potential capacity of 1335kgs. Clean lines with minimal external fasteners and our unique aero front means that our HILO offers a viable alternative to a panel van….not a compromise.

*NB: Payloads are subject to final body and chassis configuration +/- 5% engineering tolerances.

Key Advantages of our Hilo over a standard panel van

  • Reduced bed height giving easier access for manual loads.
  • Greater volume with luton load space above cab
  • Ideal for multi drop operations – courier, furniture delivery, washroom services etc.
  • Gives a more versatile cubic load area, i.e. a standing wardrobe could be restrained flat against the body side panel
  • Load restraint can be easily customised.
  • No ply lining required
  • Translucent roof offers natural light into load space unlike a panel van.
  • Can be specified with a shutter for operations where rear hinged opening doors could be an issue.
