
Over the past four decades we have achieved market leader status in this sector, manufacturing up to 40 aero luton bodies per week. The distinctive aero front, unique to Alloy Bodies, compliments the individual aesthetics of each chassis cab. This gives our customers a superior, evolved choice over the traditional luton body with the advantage of fuel saving capabilities and payloads of up to 1200kgs dependant on body configuration.
Aside from volume production we can also cater for the more bespoke requirements. Over the years we have manufactured lutons to serve many different industries engineering specifically designedvehicles for prison services, laundry collections, clinical waste, home insulations and even vehicles to transport highly valuable fine art. We have recently developed our luton body range even further by introducing our new Curve luton, specifically designed to further improve fuel efficiency. Incorporating a curved roof profile and redesigned aero front along with optional fibreglass sideskirts our new Curve luton also looks great, complimenting its greener appeal.

An anodised aluminium rear frame with aluminium roller shutter is fitted as standard on our luton bodies. Wide lath shutters and flush fitting doors are also available. - Subframe
Our lightweight ladder constructed subframe has been designed to optimise strength whilst maximising payload. - Design
Our unique design of Aero luton front compliments the design of the chassis cab, incorporating lines and contours taken from the vehicle bonnet. In addition to the aesthetic detail the Aero front also represent considerable fuel savings over a conventional square luton body. - Detail
Attention to detail shows through all aspects of our bodywork with cab designs carried onto components and fastener free construction taking advantage of the latest adhesive technology.

11mm GRP ply side panels are standard on our Aero luton with optional 17mm
lightweight panels available where payload is critical.
