Vehicle deliveries and collections
Please note our vehicle receiving and collection times from Monday to Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm. This excludes Bank Holidays and our annual Christmas shutdown.
To minimise any waiting times please give a minimum of 24 hour notice to our logistics team prior to collection/delivery.
This ensures the relevant trained personnel are available to receive or release vehicles.

Anthony Clayton
“I started my early career as an apprentice commercial vehicle bodybuilder at Ken Rosebury Ltd in 1996 and after serving my apprenticeship there gradually moved through various roles in the business.
I joined Alloy Bodies sales team in 2005 and have progressed through to my current role as Sales Director working with a great team of experienced industry professionals.”

David Stanford
I’ve spent my entire working life in the motor vehicle industry, a journey that began back in 1983 when I started as an apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician. Those early years gave me a real appreciation for hands‑on engineering and the satisfaction of solving practical problems.
After my apprenticeship, I moved to Hodgkinson Vehicle Engineering, where I spent a decade working on LCV and HGV chassis modifications. I later transitioned into a sales role with Ken Rosebury Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilders, a move that shaped the next 20 years of my career. I enjoyed building relationships, helping customers find the right solutions, and using my technical background to give honest, informed advice.
In 2014, I joined Alloy Bodies, where I’ve continued to do what I enjoy most: supporting customers, solving challenges, and drawing on extensive industry experience.
Meet the team
James Phillips
I’ve been involved in the truck industry for as long as I can remember, having grown up around a family-owned dealership. Not long after leaving school, I began my career in the industry, building on that early hands-on exposure and developing a strong understanding of commercial vehicles from the ground up.
In 2005, I joined Truckeast, where I created, developed, and expanded the Specialist Services Team. Over 13 years, I worked across all types of ancillaries, trailers, and everything connected to the truck, gaining extensive technical knowledge and practical experience.
I then moved to Dhollandia Tail Lifts, continuing to build on my industry knowledge while developing into asset sales, combining technical expertise with a commercial focus
In 2024, I joined Alloy Bodies, bringing with me nearly two decades of experience across service, technical support, and sales.
I now manage the South of England for both HGV and LCV markets, working closely with dealers, end users, rental companies, and contract hire customers to provide tailored solutions and long-term support.

Dan Mclaughlin
With 19 years in the LCV conversions industry, I have been involved in a range of specialist sectors including a combined 15 years at van racking manufacturers Sortimo & Edstrom working with vehicle racking systems supporting commercial fleet projects.
In briefer roles during my career, I have also been involved in refrigerated vehicles, emergency lighting & funeral vehicle conversions.
I joined Alloy Bodies in January 2026, where I am now creating & growing our new division, Vansform. With the support of the experienced Alloy Bodies team, we are developing a dedicated LCV panel van conversions offer focused on high-quality efficient & compliant conversion solutions.
